As most of you know Spring Equinox is around the corner! It is THIS Saturday, March 20th. For those that have been following me on Instagram for a while, you know that Spring is my LEAST favorite season! This is honestly because of my horrible allergies and the inconsistent weather! One day it could be in the 80s and the next it is 30! So bizarre to me but that is New Jersey for ya! LOL! While we are days away from Spring, I wanted to share 6 outerwear pieces that you NEED to transition into Spring!
{1} Rain jacket- we all know that Spring means LOTS of rain! A lightweight rain jacket is perfect for this time of year. Since this jacket is so versatile you can wear it even if it doesn’t rain! It can be used as a light layering piece for Spring
{2} Blazer- now this really isn’t an “outerwear” piece but definitely a staple piece that you should own and can be thrown over an outfit if it gets chilly out! This even looks cute with a bodysuit, shorts (something I hardly wear), and heels!
{3} Leather Jacket- another essential piece you need in your wardrobe. A leather jacket can be thrown over literally ANYTHING and look fab! I live in a leather jacket during Spring/Fall!
{4} Denim Jacket- another piece I live in during Spring/Fall. A denim jacket can be thrown over cute spring dresses, or tied around your waist for a street style look! See picture below for how I styled it this past fall for apple picking!
{5} Utility Jacket- practical piece that you’ll see me wear constantly in transitional months. This is also my travel jacket. I find it so easy to wear when traveling! Not too heavy or light!
{6} Bomber Jacket- I bought this years ago and I don’t wear it as often as I should but it is definitely a great piece to layer during those changing months! I tend to use this when I want to dress up my look. With all the sequins, it can make a basic look transform into something dressier!
