Honeymoon in Cabo! Le Blanc Resort

Hi Friends!

I finally have the time to share with you all my AMAZING experience at Le Blanc Resorts in Cabo! As most of you know, John and I got married last month (10/16!)- a blog post will come about that too / vendor reviews once I get my professional pictures!

So we left for our honeymoon 2 days after the wedding which was that Monday 10/18! I truthfully don’t think honeymoons are “honeymoons” unless you go right after the wedding. I know people can’t get the time off until the summer, or for other reasoning, but this is just my opinion.

The flights, yes 2 we had a lay-over, weren’t bad. We flew United and they handed out wipes to clean your seats, and you MUST wear your mask at all times. We booked through a Travel Agent, which is a first for me because I actually enjoy planning trips, but it was just another thing I did NOT want to do during the wedding process- ha!

There were only direct flights, which I usually fly, on Saturdays. I am a direct flight kinda gal so we left that Saturday 10/23 which made our trip 6 days which is more than enough for John and myself. It also gave John Sunday to relax at home before going back to work. He cannot take off as many days as I could. If you can, I ENCOURAGE you to take at least 2 weeks off during your wedding! I did and it was amazing and rejuvenating.

Anyways, back to Le Blanc! Le Blanc has 2 locations; one in Cancun and one in Cabo. We stayed at their Cabo location. This is an all-inclusive, adult only resort. This was John’s first time going to an all-inclusive resort, and my second time. This resort has butler service on all floors and both of our Butlers were the BEST!! They wanted us to utilize them more than we did but that’s just how we are(do things ourselves).

We stayed in the honeymoon suite with the most gorgeous view. Our stay came with a bottle of wine and tequila and also a Hydrotherapy session at the spa! This resort is so gorgeous and full of activities that you never have to leave the resort! They offer different types of excursions daytime and nighttime events to keep you busy throughout your stay.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted at the front door with hot towels to clean our hands, and we had to wipe our shoes down before entering the lobby. We were then greeted by concierge with non-alcoholic drinks, a rose, and heated shoulder pads. He went over the details of our stay. Every person who worked there did something differently. For instance, we tried to book an excursion with concierge, but they sent us to guest services to book. Everyone was fantastic!!

There are so many different restaurants at the resort we were able to try every one and you literally do not have to ever leave! We also did room service once for breakfast, just to get a little more relaxing time in the room before we began our day. We went to the hotel gym several times during our stay, and went to the pool every single day!

Prior to booking this trip John and I both said that we just want a trip to RELAX! Every time I book something I always make us do tours, or sightsee, so this was our first ever relaxing, carefree vacation. The goal was to come back super rejuvenated & stress-free- mission accomplished!

Everyday after the gym and breakfast we sat out by the pool. You could sit out by the beach but you are not able to go in the water, because it is so rough. We stayed on the beach only for the games they had (cornhole was one of them!). We met some pretty awesome people too! Everyone was super friendly!

Our last night was bittersweet for 2 reasons. One, they had a Mexican fiesta which was awesome to eat all the different foods at each station. It was also nice to get a little glimpse of the Mexican culture too by watching men and women sing, dance, and perform. Second, while we were at the fiesta, our Butler decorated our room with rose petals, had a bottle of champagne and some treats for us, had relaxing music playing, had a bath with bath salts ready for us, and even a lavender pillow to sleep on!! We really felt like royalty there!

It was so sad to leave because we really did have the best time, but it was nice knowing that I was going back home to my favorite month & weather. We are seriously contemplating going to their Cancun location (just to get a different scene) because we had such a wonderful time! Until next time Cabo! Thanks for the memories!

I appreciate the love and support as always!

Kristen
